Aug 2026 - (with Gemma) The boat anchored in the bay of Leknes, and we travelled ashore by tender. After a shuttle bus into the town from the dock, we caught a taxi to the start point. Breathtaking hike all around today. In terms of vistas and landscape, the views from the top are absolutely magnificent. There is something primordial about them; you don’t get a clear view beyond the cliffs until you reach the very top, and once you get there, it’s almost like a new world is revealing itself. We spent over an hour on the summit.
