SWCP - Perranporth to St Agnes
Distance: 8km
Ascent: 430m
Aug 2025 - Gorgeous, tiny section of the coast that I’d never done before in its entirety. We did one of our treasure trails which we absolutely love to do. Caught the bus from St Agnes to Perranporth and then walked back. The treasure trail was heaps of fun with some of the clues being extremely clever. The beach at Perranporth was absolutely heaving, so we were glad to round the corner after the enormous sun dial to a more secluded part. Despite layering up in sun cream, I still managed to get burnt on the top of my chest due to unzipping my t-shirt's collar, and I now have a triangular red patch which is extremely sore. The heat was absolutely ridiculous, but there was a slight coastal breeze although 5 miles felt like about 10. Great to be walking again with Gemma and we had a blast. Needed desperately to get out the sun once we got down to St Agnes so we had a cold drink in the beach café.
