Sept 2025 - Ascent from Neuadd car park. I've missed the Brecon Beacons; first time up since January, so it was great to be back. Mountain therapy was massively needed. Mum passed a week ago today. Plenty of 'dry' clag for the first part of the walk gave way to glorious sunshine for the rest of it. Not that many folk about, the Graig Fan Ddu ridge was deserted up until Bwlch Duwynt. Glimpsed a Brocken Spectre off the summit of Corn Du. Spectacular views from Fan y Big westwards as always.
