Nov 2025 - Ascent from Llyn Ogwen. Linear walk today. Gemma dropped me at Llyn Ogwen and she regretted not walking with me when I sent her some pics later on - the cloud did clear as forecast. She promises to walk tomorrow... Met an ill-equipped Terry F**kwit on the Devil's Kitchen pull up who believed he was on the way to Tryfan! He was following the AllTrails app route and I let him know that he'd gone massively the wrong way, in part because the app is shite. He wasn't happy. Cloud cleared on Y Garn and it remained fabulous, albeit chilly, from there onwards. Plenty on water on the mountains and some slippery conditions underfoot. Magnificent views in the cold air and I could see some snow patches on Carnedd Dafydd and Carnedd Llewellyn. From Elidir Fawr the whole of Anglesey was visible. Great walk.
